Mitchell Starc to Shamar Joseph, OUT! BOWLED! That's sheer pace from Starc. It is a full toss and might seem friendly for some batters, but for a lower-order batter, the pace of Starc is a bit too much. He looks to flick it away but misses the ball. It hits his pads and deflects onto the stumps. Certainly not a wicket-taking delivery, but many times, against tailenders, extra pace does the trick. Shamar Joseph departs for 8 and from 139/5, West Indies are 171/9, trailing by 9! Starc gets his third scalp.

Mitchell Starc to Shamar Joseph, Excellent yorker, around middle and leg, tailing in, Shamar Joseph does well to get his boot out of the way, to avoid a 'Gabba repeat and gets an inside edge to the leg side.

Beau Webster to Shamar Joseph, FOUR MORE! Those two third umpire verdicts have fired up the crowd and the home side. Full and wide outside off again, Shamar leans and drives it albeit a bit off the outside edge, over point and gets consecutive boundaries!

Beau Webster to Shamar Joseph, Full, outside off, Shamar Joseph looks to drive but misses.
  • DRINKS BREAK. Dramatic hour. 27/3 in 11.3 overs since Lunch amidst a lot of controversy. Australia have given nothing post the break and the West Indies seem to have got stalled a bit. Might as well go for some shots now with not much batters left. Shamar Joseph comes in at number 10, replacing Shai Hope.

Beau Webster to Shai Hope, OUT! GIVEN OUT CAUGHT! Boos from the crowd and Adrian Holdstock is certainly not going to have many fans in the Caribbean after tonight. Have to say, Australia have got away with another one here. First, they were lucky with the dismissal of Roston Chase and now, they will feel massively lucky with this verdict. On a good length, outside off, Shai Hope looks to defend but the ball pitches and then seams back in massively. Catches the inside edge and flies over the stumps. But the keeper, Alex Carey, dives spectacularly to his left, like a goalkeeper and takes a phenomenal catch. Or so it seems. Hope starts to walk but umpire Richard Kettleborough wants to check whether the catch was taken cleanly. Third umpire Adrian Holdstock checks multiple replays and one angle seems to suggest that the ball was grounded. The crowd likes that replay but then, go silent as Holdstock believes that the ball has been lodged perfectly in the gloves of Carey. Not quite sure that is the case, as there was a lot of doubt in that. My guess is the benefit of doubt should have gone to the batter. Hope departs for 48 and from 139/5, West Indies are 162/8, trailing by 18!
  • Stunner from Carey! Hope is walking but umpire Richard Kettleborough wants to check whether the catch is taken cleanly. The third umpire is into action again. There seems to be a wobble as the ball goes into the glove. Did it hit the ground? Hang on. One angle seems to indicate that the ball has touched the ground! The crowd cheer on seeing that and the third umpire is having multiple looks now. Oh dear, the third umpire feels that the ball has lodged into the gloves.

Beau Webster to Shai Hope, Puff of dust. But well away from the playing area. Full and wide outside off, moves further away after pitching, Shai Hope shoulders arms.

Pat Cummins to Alzarri Joseph, Landed outside off, on a good length, stays low. Well watched again by Alzarri Joseph as he defends it solidly towards cover.
