I love TV as much as the next person, and sitcoms are very much up there with some of my favourite things to watch. But British TV doesn't quite do it for me the way that the US sitcoms do. Don't worry, there are still a few British sitcoms that have made the list.
Sitcoms are where people well and truly share their passion for their favourite TV shows, people usually stick quite strongly to their number one. Now a few years ago, I only really had watched Friends loyally. I grew up watching Friends, Scrubs, and Two and a Half Men, but Friends was the only one that landed a spot on my rewatch list.
Then I was encouraged to watch How I Met Your Mother, and my love for sitcoms was born. One thing about me, I normally fight it for a long time. It took my husband a year to finally convince me to watch The Big Bang Theory, I thought I'd hate it. Plot twist, I absolutely didn't.
But from the likes of Gavin & Stacey, all the way to '90s classic Friends, where do some of the most popular sitcoms fare in my Top 10?
