Sarah Ferguson has published a perfect tribute to the late music legend Ozzie Osbourne that has touched the hearts of his fans and her followers.
Ozzy Osbourne died at the age of 76, surrounded by his loved ones, his family confirmed in a moving statement on Tuesday.
Ozzy's death comes just weeks after reuniting with Black Sabbath for a massive farewell concert. The legendary frontman launched the iconic band, famous for metal anthems like Paranoid and Heaven and Hell, before enjoying a hugely successful solo career.
The post from Sarah Ferguson said: "Heartbroken to hear of Ozzy's passing.
"A true legend, and a gentle soul beneath the wild spirit.
"My love and deepest condolences to my dear friend Sharon and all the family.
"Rest in peace, Ozzy - your music and magic will live on forever."
The statement from Ozzie's family read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time." It was signed by his wife Sharon and their children Aimee, Kelly, Jack, and Louis.
Ozzy Osbourne reunited with his bandmates on stage at Villa Park earlier this month, thrilling an elated crowd. "You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart," he told the audience.
The "final bow" gig featured performances from some of Ozzy's favourite acts, including Metallica and Guns N' Roses. Although he appeared well on stage, Ozzy has faced serious health battles in recent years.
In 2020, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and in 2023, he took a break from touring following extensive spinal surgery.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson would have celebrated 39 years of marriage on July 23, 2025. Although they divorced, the former couple remain close friends and are often cited as an example of an amicable separation.
The couple tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on July 23, 1986, but Sarah soon found the harsh realities of royal life challenging.
In a 2010 interview with US TV host Ernie Manouse, the Duchess of York opened up about her marriage, saying: "My deal was that I was marrying my man, who happened to be a prince and a naval officer. But what I got was not the man, I got the palace and didn't get him. For our marriage, I saw him 40 days a year."
