For every gardener, keeping flowers alive through the longer days is one of the most cherished dreams. There are many flowers that have failed to survive for a long period of time.
But a gardening expert has shared one thing that keeps the flower alive for six weeks. Experts from The Middle Sized Garden revealed that by gardening in a greenhouse, one can extend the blooming period and enjoy flowers as much as six weeks ahead of their typical schedule. Greenhouse gardening offers a stable, protected space where plants are safe from the ever-changing and often harsh elements of the natural environment.

By capturing and retaining heat, greenhouses provide a consistently warm environment. This safeguards tender flowers from unexpected chills or frost and supports the continuous growth of select plant species throughout the year.
The experts explained: "Greenhouse gardening can stretch the flowering season, giving you blooms up to six weeks earlier than usual. And although a full size greenhouse can also be a living space - a haven away from the world - you can get the same growing benefits from lean-to greenhouse shelving, cloches and cold frames.
According to the expert, one can grow any plant in a greenhouse.
Tom Brown, author of The Greenhouse Book and head gardener at the stunning West Dean Gardens in Sussex said: "Just be aware of the greenhouse climate and whether it is suitable for that particular plant. And any plant that flowers in spring will flower earlier if you keep it in a greenhouse over winter."
While greenhouses are commonly associated with growing vegetables-like cucumbers, chillies, aubergines, and tomatoes, which all benefit from the extra warmth and protection in summer-there's so much more to explore.
Mr Brown said that greenhouse growing is best for extending your flower year rather than year-round flower growing.
Apart from this, Greenhouse gardening also offers a stable, protected space where plants are safe from the ever-changing and often harsh elements of the natural environment.
