In yet-to-air Emmerdale scenes, Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) is motivated to help her granddaughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) find a surrogate after hitting a wall with agencies. Soon, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) is overwhelmed when Charity asks her if she will be a surrogate, and tries to digest the huge proposition.
However, Charity senses Victoria's uncertainty and does her best to convince the latter that she's Sarah's only chance at starting a family of her own. Leaving Victoria to mull over the offer, Charity reunites with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) as they agree to keep their options open with helping their granddaughter.
Later on, Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is left aghast when Victoria tells him she's been asked to be Sarah's surrogate. Matters take a turn for the worse when Sarah learns Charity went behind her back to ask Victoria to be a surrogate.

On top of that, Cain's wife Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) is concerned he's pushing his grief for his dead son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) aside by putting all of his focus onto Sarah.
Tensions continue to rise within the Dingle clan as Sarah ends up telling herself she will never become a mother.
However, an impulsive Charity offers to carry the baby for her heartbroken granddaughter.
A furious Cain chastises Charity for her extreme offer and risky decision to keep her husband, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), in the dark about it.
Soon, Sarah's left uncomfortable when she realises Charity still hasn't told Mack about her plans to be her surrogate. Will Mack be informed of the huge matter?
Charity and Mack are not on the best of terms at the moment, so this move could potentially break them.
Could the Dingle family be torn apart over the unconventional move from Charity?
Emmerdale usually airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
