BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has once again stirred political controversy, drawing sharp criticism from the Congress party for his recent statements regarding Prime Minister Modi and internal party prospects. Congress leader Pawan Khera targeted Dubey, saying that his frequent remarks are damaging the BJP and inadvertently helping the opposition.

Dubey’s Controversial Comments

In a recent interview, Nishikant Dubey praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming:

“If PM Modi is not our leader, BJP will not be able to win even 150 seats. We must fight the 2029 elections under his leadership.”

He added that Modi has successfully expanded BJP’s vote bank, especially among the poor, who were never traditionally BJP supporters.

Congress Reacts Strongly

Responding to this, Pawan Khera stated:

“Every time Nishikant Dubey opens his mouth, BJP loses more seats. He has accepted that the government has done no work, and that’s why people are turning away. The more he speaks, the more the country and Congress will benefit.”

Khera's remarks went viral following his statement shared on ANI's Twitter handle, adding to the political buzz.

Language Dispute Sparks Tensions

Separately, Dubey’s remarks on the Maharashtra language row have also drawn backlash. Referring to recent incidents where a shopkeeper was beaten in Maharashtra for not speaking Marathi, Dubey said:

“If you're that brave, come to Bihar, UP, or Tamil Nadu — we'll beat you up.”

This statement triggered a sharp rebuttal from MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who warned:

“A BJP MP says he will beat Marathi people? Let him come to Mumbai, we’ll drown him in the sea.”

Dubey, unfazed, responded by sharing Thackeray’s video on his social media handle, cheekily captioning it:

“Did I teach Hindi to Raj Thackeray?”

Nishikant Dubey’s remarks are once again fueling friction within the political discourse, with both his own party and the opposition watching closely as his statements continue to stir reactions across party lines and state borders.
