A savvy woman has scored herself an incredible find while perusing her local charity shops, unaware of the treasure she stumbled upon. Holly, who shares her thrifty adventures on TikTokas @hollyloveslilac, revealed her passion for hunting down "good, beautiful handbags," particularly in charity shops, and was eager to show off her latest finds.
Holly confessed her penchant for high-quality "leather" bagsand occasionally seeks out "designer labels" to enhance her collection. Her recent spree across three charity shops rewarded her with four handbags, one of which left her astonished. Kicking off her haul was a pristine faux-leather bag adorned with eye-catching button details.
She explained that it was from Nasty Gal and could also be styled as a backpack. Snagging it for a mere £4, she was over the moon.

Then came a genuine leather Paul Costelloe bag, which Holly snagged for just £5. She described it as "in really good condition," noting it was a "crossbody bag with an adjustable strap," a versatile addition to any wardrobe.
The third find was a lilac bag that instantly grabbed her attention, prompting her to "zoom across the shop" to claim it.
Holly detailed that this bag boasted three compartments and a cross-body strap, perfect for any outing. Although it was the priciest at £8, she considered it a steal.
Holly boasted with pride that she "has an eye for designer," excitedly sharing how the "quilted" texture of her latest grab clued her into its value - especially when she spotted the shiny silver "hardware" on the item.
With keen intuition, Holly "darted over" and to her amazement, realised the bag was a Karl Lagerfeld piece, which left her utterly astonished.
She confidently observed that the bag had never been used, as it "still had the sticker on the hardware," and she was astounded to land the accessory for merely £3 - a steal, mentioned in the caption as retailing "at over £300".
Feeling pretty smug about her savvy shopping skills, Holly gloated about nailing such a sweet deal at the charity shop, noting that despite her lack of expertise, it certainly seemed authentic.
Flocking to the comments, many voiced their envy, expressing they'd "be sick" if they stumbled upon such a find, with Holly querying: "Good sick or bad sick?" to which they enthusiastically responded: "Flippin delighted sick".
However, one commenter wasn't thrilled about her bargain hunting, suggesting perhaps it would be ethical to inform the charity that they could have sold the handbag for more, prompting debate.
To which Holly coolly replied: "Interesting question - I don't think it's a moral question, as ultimately, it's a second-hand handbag that someone no longer wants - so morals feel a bit 'much'.
"I've also spoken to most of the charity shop owners and they're inundated and really struggle to shift everything and if they don't, it often goes to landfill... so they'd rather sell it cheap than not at all".
