It might still be summer but there’s no denying that there’s a tiny glimmer of autumn in the air. Whilst we’re mourning the end of light nights and summer dresses, we’re also secretly a little bit excited at the prospect of swapping our sandals for slippers and a cosy night in.
And what better pair to get your hands on than the Skechers BOBS Keepsakes Lite Cozy Fest, which you can get your hands (and feet) on for £40. The perfect pick for chilly evenings, the faux shearling-lined slippers are also a great alternative to UGG’s pricier Tasman II slippers, which will set you back £115.

Just like the UGG pair, Skechers’ BOBS Keepsakes have a slip-on, backless design which makes them easy to get on and off, with a cosy lining and decorative trim around the edges. They are, however, made from faux suede and faux shearling, rather than the real deal like UGG’s, which is why they have a more affordable price point.
However this is great news for anyone looking for a vegan-friendly pair, and they’ve been designed to ensure they’re still just as warm and comfortable despite their faux materials. The slippers also have a chunky sole which helps keep your feet warm and offers extra protection from the ground’s surfaces.
The BOBS Keepsakes slippers are available in sizes 2 to 6.5 with half sizes available. They’re also available in a rich chestnut colour with cream lining, you can also pick them up in all-black with a contrasting white stitching trim.
If you’d like more colour options, you can pick up the Aztec Detail Faux Fur Lining Mini Boots from Where's That From in six different colours at Debenhams for £21.99 down from £36.99. Alternatively, Regatta’s Risley Waterproof Mules are £50 with a choice of four shades to pick from.
However Skechers’ shoppers have been delighted with their BOBS Keepsakes slippers, giving them a 4.7 star rating. One wrote: “I love my new black slippers. They're nice and warm because my old ones got worn out.”
Another agreed: “It is very hard to get trendy shoes that are vegan and won't hurt your pocketbook. I bought these in tan. Very comfortable!! I wear them everyday and everywhere!!”
Some found the design a little tricky writing: “The only thing I don't like is the back of the shoe is too low. It doesn't hold your foot in the show feels like a flip flop.”
But others loved this easy-to-wear detail, saying: “Great to be able to just slip them on and go.”
