Jessie J savagely hit back at a fan for a cheeky question while she worked out. The Price Tag songstress, 37, took to Instagram to share her response with her followers - and was met with a lot of sympathy.
Jessie captioned a video of her singing: "A lady said to me at the gym today… “Do you still do your singing thing?” So I’m posting this because I’m due my period and she pi**ed me off"
The video showed a flawless live version of her belting out her hit tune Thunder. And her followers were quick to respond. Among them was fellow singer Deborah Cox. The American singer commented: "Isn’t it annoying when that question is asked?," with an eye-rolling emoji. "Like…. Can’t we have a life as well?

Another user commented: "the "singing thing" being the best voice of our time," while a third joked: "you should have told her Nonononoooo Nooo *nobody’s perfect singing & riff* Lol."
Earlier this week, the super star admitted she plans to leave the UK again following her cancer surgery. She previously revealed she she had a mastectomy in June and plans to undergo more breast surgery in the coming weeks to try to deal with her diagnosis.
But she admits she is struggling with life back in the UK and is missing her ‘community’ of LA. She described London as a ‘distant’ and ‘isolating’ place, saying on Instagram: "I forgot how anti-social London is.
"I’ve been back for 10 months and it really is so distant and an isolating place to maintain a social life. Man, I miss LA and my community of people there. Might just book a flight and go before my surgery. I need some [battery emoji]]”.
She had underwent the mastectomy procedure in June after she revealed she had an early-stage diagnosis of breast cancer. She explained she was holding on to the word early, as she said in a video: "I was diagnosed with early breast cancer.
"Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early'. It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t**s and more music."
She has continued to update fans on her condition throughout her journey. Sharing a clip of herself performing at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London recently, she wrote: "Today marks 12 weeks since my mastectomy for breast cancer and 4 weeks until my next surgery.
"I feel like only now I’m really processing how much I have done in the last 5 months since my diagnosis. I am not ashamed to say I am so proud of myself
"This showcase was the afternoon after I had 5 more biopsies after they had found more breast cancer in other places after my MRI. No one knew at this point. So watching this back just feels so special knowing what I have endured and overcome.
"I have done and am still doing my best in all that life has thrown at me this year. I truly feel SO INSPIRED. I am still very much in it BUT IMO it's so important to celebrate these milestones. So that’s what I am doing today!"
