This is the horrifying moment a "pet" lionleaped over a wall and terrifyingly chased after a woman and two children on a busy street.
Shocking CCTV footage caught the moment off guard pedestrians were shocked when the big cat jumped over a high wall around it's owners property and immediately pounced on an unsuspecting woman.
The older woman, who was carrying her shopping, fell to the ground while the lion was on her, in Lahore, Pakistan. A hero passerby quickly picked up what appeared to be a bottle and hit the lion, scaring the animal and making it jump off the woman, on Thursday night.

The horrifying video, released by police, then showed the woman getting back on her feet before she ran away in the opposite direction. The man then continued to chase after the lion as it ran further down the busy street and away from it's home.
Police revealed a dad said his five-year-old and seven-year-old children were also attacked by the lion and said the big cat clawed at their arms and faces. All three were taken to hospital but thankfully none were left in a serious condition.

The owners ran out of their home and were "amused to see their lion attack" the pedestrian, the father told police in a report. Local cops revealed they arrested three men on Friday.
The office of the Deputy Inspector General Operations in Lahore said: "The suspects fled from the spot, taking the lion with them. They were arrested within 12 hours of the incident."
Police also confiscated the lion, who was an 11-month-old male and the cat was then sent to a wildlife park. Officials at the park said the big cat appeared to be in good health.
This shockingly has not been the first lion attack to be caught on camera in Pakistan. Owning exotic animals can been seen as a sign of wealth and privilege in the country's Punjab region.
Another pet lion attacked a man while he tried to take a selfie with the big cat, last year. The man got too close with his camera and ended up on the floor in agony following the brutal mauling.

The victims was heard begging the beast to "please stop" and "spare" him before he was writhing on the floor in pain as the lion sinks its claws into his skin. One of his friends can be seen trying to hit the lion over the head to distract it but the animal ignores him and continues to tear into the victim who is squirming on his back screaming.
This man was then rushed to hospital with an injury on his arm but it is unclear to what extent the damage had been.
