EastEnders fans work out Zack is 'alive' after spotting major clue

Tonight's saw the highly anticipated aftermath of the horror car crash, which saw Zack Hudson and Teddy Mitchell veer off into a lake. Fans saw Teddy come out alive - but Zack was no where to be seen. However, fans are certain he's still alive.

Last night, Harry, bundled Zack into his car boot and sped out of Walford .

Teddy, who was left fearing for his Harry's actions, then hitched a ride with Honey, Billy and Nigel, as he demanded they followed Harry's car.

Teddy then removed an unconscious Zack from Harry's boot and drove off with him but it wasn't long before he regained consciousness. A frightened Zack then grabbed the wheel,

At the start of tonight's episode, a panicked Teddy was seen surfacing from the water, although Zack was nowhere to be seen. Honey then surprisingly suggested that they pretend Teddy's car had been stolen - but it looks like the family may already be in trouble.

Towards the end of the episode,was seen barging into Teddy and Nicola's front room, revealing to Barney that Zack was his dad, and that his family had him killed.

However, fans aren't convinced that this is the end for Zack. Taking to to discuss one fan predicted: "He isn’t dead, either he disappears for a while or he will be the duf-duff Thursday night when he rocks up to either Sharon’s or Ravis looking for help.

"It will most probably Ravi’s where Barney will be staying to get away from his family. Zack can’t die. I refuse to believe it. There has to be a Father-Son reunion."

A second penned: "Zack's not dead till we see a body. He'll turn up tomorrow," while a third in denial fan said: "I don’t believe he’s dead until we see a body."

Another fan agreed: "It's a small pond. If the search team don't find a body within a day then its clear Zack managed to get away and isn't dead."

With his body no where to be seen - fans are sure it's a huge hint Zack will be returning. Many fans are also questioning why the soap would introduce such a huge storyline for Barney and Zack - only to have him die before it was fully explored.

Fans are certain Zack will appear again - with some believing it will be as soon as tomorrow. Is this the last we'll see of Zack?
