Charlie Sheen has issued a plea to his former Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer. The duo appeared on the hit sitcom together between 2003 and 2001, but Sheen was sensationally sacked from his role following erratic behaviour and comments made against the show's creator, Chuck Lorre.
Sheen's rise and fall has since been documented in the Netflix showing of aka Charlie Sheen. The documentary sees Cryer take part, but Shen recently revealed he had personally asked him to be a part of it.
The two-parter also has input from Sheen's ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller. His pal Sean Penn also takes part, as does Lorre and a number of Sheen's family.

Despite not contacting Cryer, Sheen was appreciative of his former co-star for speaking "honestly and very compassionately". He admitted the only reason he didn't reach out prior to the production was due to having an incorrect number.
Sheen told People: " I wrote to him and I said, ‘Hey, thank you for your contributions, and I’m sorry we didn't connect personally. I hope to see you around the campus.'"
However, he admits he is yet to hear back from the star - although he believes he might have the wrong details. "It’s not like Jon did not respond. He’s super responsible like that," he added. "So if you’re reading this, Jon, DM me your new number!”
And he admitted that Cryer had "nailed" his words on the documentary regarding Sheen's lack of belief that he deserved the fame and fortune he received. Cryer had explained how he thought this is where his struggles and addiction my have stemmed from, leading Sheen to say he was "dead on".
Sheen admitted hearing his comments allowed him to start thinking about that more, joking it felt like he was in therapy with the actor.
Elsewhere, his estranged daughter Sami Sheen has said that she was unaware that she was the catalyst for her father sobriety. In the documentary and his memoir, The Book of Sheen, the 60-year-old star revealed a conversation with his eldest daughter led to him giving up alcohol and drugs permanently.
He shared that in 2017, after consuming three coffees with whiskey, he had to ask a friend to collect Sami from an appointment. Her reaction is said to have led him to swear off alcohol and drug for good.
Charlie said: "Sam was very quiet. I didn't need to be clairvoyant to know exactly what she was thinking. 'Why is Dad not driving - again? Why isn't it just the two of us in the car like it used to be? When will that moment ever return? When will Dad ever return? I miss him.'".
Now, OnlyFans model Sami, 21, who no longer speaks to her dad, has said that she was oblivious to the fact that she was the reason for his sobriety. On TikTok, she said: ""I didn't know I was the reason he got sober," before calling the documentary "Honestly a 10/10 documentary."
