Mumbai: Today around 12:15 PM, a group of 4 to 5 villagers from Markerwadi, Solapur district, suddenly gathered at Usha Mehta Chowk and began protesting over issues related to Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

They were taken into custody and transported in a police vehicle to Azad Maidan for further action. The incident was confirmed by Senior Police Inspector Nilesh Bagul of Marine Drive Police Station.
