Tikamgarh (Madhya Pradesh): A headless body was found in Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh district raising suspicions of ‘human sacrifice,’ as reported by police on Monday.
Additionally, the deceased father was also found dead under mysterious circumstances just 300 metres away.
The matter pertains to Vijaypur village in Tikamgarh district and the deceased was identified as a youth, Akhilesh Kushwaha. When the police team, led by Jatara SDOP Abhishek Gautam, reached the spot, they noticed signs of a ritual or occult activity, indicating that this might be a case of human sacrifice.
Just a few hours later, about 300 meters away, Akhilesh’s father, Gola Kushwaha, was also found dead in his house. He had been suffering from cancer in his leg and was undergoing treatment in Gwalior for the past 6 months.
Police officials, including Tikamgarh Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh Mandloi, inspected the scene.

SP Mandloi confirmed that Akhilesh's death appears to be a case of human sacrifice, but his father's death is still unclear.
Both bodies were sent for post-mortem together, and the police are waiting for short post-mortem reports to understand the case.
SP Mandloi assured that the police are investigating from all possible angles, including whether the father’s death was natural or linked to the murder.
The police continue to investigate this double death mystery, which has left the entire district in shock.
