A big cheating scandal with the help of sophisticated devices was revealed in the Sub-Engineer recruitment exam organised by the Public Works Department (PWD) in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district on Sunday. The incident, caught on camera and now viral on social media, occurred at Ramdulare School in Sarkanda, where suspicious movement outside the exam centre alerted the authorities.

The locals observed a young woman sitting within an auto-rickshaw close to the exam center, softly talking to a person via a tablet and walkie-talkie. Seeing her activity as suspicious, passersby informed NSUI workers, who were present nearby.

When NSUI activists arrived at the spot and started asking questions to the woman, she first attempted to retreat and requested them to leave. But as their suspicion increased, they started searching the auto. While searching, they found a tablet and a walkie-talkie, which made it clear that the woman was in a real-time communication with her sister inside the exam hall.

The NSUI team threatened that if she did not reveal the details of the cheating racket, they would go inside the exam hall and have all the students searched and call the police. When the woman attempted to stop them from taking a video of the scene, the police were called to the location.

According to media reports, police reached the location and arrested both women. During further interrogation, it came to light that the pair had high-tech communication equipment to enable cheating in the examination.

Police seized a number of items, such as micro-devices, tablets, and other electronic gadgets from both of the women. These gadgets were said to be used to aid in cheating on the PWD recruitment exam. The further investigation is underway.
