Back in 2016, Disney’s animated film Zootopia released in theatres and broke the box office turning out to be a billion-dollar blockbuster on a $150 crore budget.

Now, nine years later, Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin return to voice reluctant partners and the cops of Zootopia city, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, respectively, in the Zootopia 2 trailer.

About Zootopia 2 Trailer

The trailer begins with the partners in police therapy and this time, they will be seen taking on a mysterious sole reptile named Gary De'Snake who has entered the city of Zootopia. The new character who is also seemingly the antagonist is voiced by Ke Huy Quan.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia’s history, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voice of Jason Bateman) find their partnership isn’t as solid as they thought when Chief Bogo (voice of Idris Elba) orders them to join the Partners in Crisis counseling program. But it doesn’t take long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied to the arrival of a venomous snake Gary De'Snake (voice of Ke Huy Quan) in the animal metropolis.”
